UROLOG-ONLINE.CZ Ltd.

  • founded 4. 11. 2013
  • based in Pardubice
  • we specialise in the development of modern urological diagnostic equipment and tools
  • we provide expert advice in the field of urology
  • we have developed the umbrella projects UROSCREEN and MODERN UROPREVENCE
more…

After twenty years as a practising urologist I know how difficult it is for a man to take the first step towards attending a urology clinic (it’s very hard to admit difficulties, to overcome fear and to deal with the bureaucracy). I know how important it is to have friendly and clear communication between doctor and patient. And, from personal experience, I know how important it is to be able to simplify and streamline the work of nurses and doctors. For these reasons, in 2013 I founded the company UROLOG-ONLINE.CZ Ltd. to provide a home for a project called “MODERN UROPREVENCE“. The vision behind this project is based on four main pillars: URO – URO-SCREEN, URO-TAB, and URO URO-WEB-ORD.

The first of these pillars is a screening device we developed known as UROSCREEN. This is a special electronic system that can be retrofitted to a normal urinal. In addition to its primary function, the urinal can then be used to automatically detect and evaluate the flow of urine. The information is then displayed to the user on the monitor which is part of the UROSCREEN system. Making this UROSCREEN system publicly available directly addresses the male population, raising awareness of the importance of Uroprevence (preventing urological disease by early testing and diagnosis).

Druhým pilířem je soubor sofistikovaných urologických aplikací URO-TAB. Pomocí těchto aplikací lze snadno a komplexně odebrat nejdůležitější informace o urologickém stavu mužů i žen.

The second pillar is a set of sophisticated urological applications known as URO-TAB. These applications can be used to collect all the vital information about the urological conditions of both men and women, easily and thoroughly. The data is then processed to provide physicians and patients with a comprehensive picture of the patient’s current condition, and to monitor changes in the patient’s condition over time. These applications therefore provide both simple and accurate diagnosis of problems, and a method of monitoring the effects of therapy.

The third pillar is the patient web portal, URO-WEB. This provides information about preventive urological examination, such as when and why to take the test, what the test involves and what kind of information you will receive. This is a simple and fun way to become familiar with the most common urological difficulties, their diagnosis and possible treatment. In addition to educational information, it also offers the possibility to receive targeted professional advice. The information collected by Uroscreen and Urotab gives every man the opportunity to discuss their current urological state of health.

The fourth and final pillar is a network of specialised urological advisory known as URO-ORD, which offers the easiest way to perform complex urological examinations. These involve a carefully taken patient history, a complete physical examination, laboratory tests of blood and urine, an ultrasound examination of the entire urinary tract and a Uroflowmetric examination. The easy accessibility and stress-free environment is a bonus for all involved.
